Grolife Sea Bird Guano Fertiliser-Organic
Your garden could be missing its foundation.
Most fertilisers chase quick green growth. But those problems start underneath, with roots, minerals and soil life. That's what GROlife Sea Bird Guano–Organic is built for.
It's pure, single-ingredient seabird guano: nothing added, nothing taken away. It's approved for use in certified organic production and packed with what most bagged fertilisers skip.
What's in it, and what it does in your garden
11.9% phosphorus → roots and flowers.
Phosphorus drives root development and flowering. You'll see seedlings and transplants settle in faster, and roses, bulbs and ornamentals put more energy into blooms instead of just leaf. Veg and fruiting plants get a strong start toward flowering and fruit set.
27.5% calcium → strength and structure.
Calcium builds strong cell walls, so you get sturdier stems and firmer fruit. It also supports better soil structure, which helps heavy clay crumble and drain more freely.
10% organic carbon → living soil.
Carbon is food for the microbes that break down nutrients and make them available to plants. Feed the soil life and the soil starts working for you, holding moisture and nutrients longer.
Iron, zinc and manganese → greener, healthier growth.
These are the trace minerals plants struggle to access in alkaline soils. Yellowing new leaves can be a sign that they're short. Guano puts them back in.
Slow-release organic nutrients → steady feeding, not burn.
Nutrients release gradually as soil biology works, so there's no feast-and-famine cycle and a low risk of burning seedlings or pots.
Pure and natural → nothing you didn't ask for.
No synthetic chemicals and no fillers. It comes from nature and goes back to nature.
Best for:
- New veg beds and transplants
- Roses and flowering ornamentals
- Herbs and pots
- Bulbs and new plantings
- Tired, compacted or depleted soil
Not suitable for phosphorus-sensitive native plants such as banksia, grevillea and hakea.
How to use:
- Vegetable beds: 100 g per m² (about 4 tablespoons)
- Herbs: 50 g per m²
- Pots: 100 mm 5–10 g | 200 mm 10–20 g | 300 mm 20–30 g
- 1 tablespoon = 25 g. Water in well.
- Reapply every 12 weeks, September to May

WHY GROLIFE
How does Grolife compare?
Most fertilisers either provide quick-release nutrients that can leave soils dependent on repeat applications, or compost-based products that improve organic matter but contribute relatively few minerals. Grolife combines natural seabird guano with a broad spectrum of plant nutrients and trace elements to support healthier soil and stronger plant growth.
Synthetic NPK
Industrial fertilisers
- 3 primary nutrients (N, P, K)
- Manufactured from synthetic inputs
- Depletes microbiology over time
- Higher risk of burn if overapplied
- Can contribute to nutrient leaching
- Focus on rapid growth
- Often highly water-soluble
- Limited sulphur contribution
